Carry customer issues into the next decision.

Help you respond to customer issues with context and make those issues visible to the rest of the revenue work.

Customer support work you can inspect

One of nine connected roles

Carry customer issues into the next decision.

Support history becomes a ranked queue, a drafted first response, and an escalation the deal owner hears about before the customer does.

What this role does for you

How it starts from your website, the work it performs, what you receive, an example, the input it needs, how to judge it, where its work goes, and what it depends on.

SU · Customer support

Help you respond to customer issues with context and make those issues visible to the rest of the revenue work.

Unresolved issues damage trust, renewals and active evaluations. This role helps coordinate accurate responses and keeps a sales or expansion message from ignoring a customer's current experience.

How it starts with your website

Uses the support conversations you connect, your approved help material, and the account's business and customer history. It becomes active when there are issues to assess and says so when there are none.

What the role does for you

  • Rank today's open escalations by what they cost, each morning.
  • Draft first responses from approved knowledge, never promising a fix or a date, and flag what needs you or a technical owner.
  • Recognise an escalation and route it to the account owner and the customer role with the evidence attached.
  • Turn the questions answered repeatedly by hand into deflection candidates, weekly, and review support load monthly with staffing implications stated as questions.
  • Brief the account owner in commercial terms before the customer does.
On its own schedule: 3 scheduled tasks, 3 more on request
  • Daily · 06:15 UTC Escalation triage: the tickets that need a human today, ranked, with a draft reply
  • Wednesdays · 06:15 UTC Deflection candidates: the repeated questions worth a docs page
  • Monthly, day 1 · 06:15 UTC Support load review: what drove volume this month and what would remove it

Times are UTC. Every task stops at a draft or a report for your review; you can turn any of them off in the console.

The work you receive

  • A prioritised issue queue with account-aware triage notes.
  • Draft responses with references and the unresolved questions marked.
  • Escalation briefs with impact, owner and next action.
  • Recurring-issue summaries and proposed help-content updates.

An example in practice

A trial account reports a blocker. The role drafts a response from approved documentation, alerts the deal owner, and notes that the planned follow-up message needs to acknowledge the problem before it goes out.

A scenario to show the shape of the work, not a customer result.

What it needs from you

Handle exceptions, confirm uncertain answers, and assign the technical owner where needed. Approve customer-facing replies within the scope you configured. Product fixes remain with the product or engineering team.

The confirmed business brief is reused across every role. The roles ask for missing facts, the decisions only you can make, and approvals, instead of repeating setup.

Expected outcomes and how to judge them

Faster access to issue context and coordinated follow-through. The intended revenue contribution is protecting trust and reducing avoidable disruption to renewals and buying decisions.

Measures worth watching

  • Time to triage and to an approved response, and the age of unresolved escalations.
  • Recurrence and reopen rates, and resolution evidence from the support system.
  • Customer and opportunity impact tied to issues, without claiming every saved deal for the support work.

How the handoff works

Each handoff carries the account or customer reference, the source evidence, the work status, the responsible owner, and the decision needed next.

  • To Customer success

What moves: An escalation, or a confirmed resolution.

What happens next: Update the customer plan and retention priorities.

  • To Account executive

What moves: A support issue on an account in an active buying conversation.

What happens next: Adjust the timing and wording of the next message.

  • To Sales engineer

What moves: A reproducible product question or gap.

What happens next: Validate the answer and describe the real remediation.

When it is useful, and what it depends on

Needs support records and approved knowledge. The support connectors (Zendesk, Intercom) are in preview until verified against a live account. It must not call a ticket resolved because a response was drafted, invent a service level, or promise that it can fix product defects.

  • A support tool connected (preview)
  • Approved help material
  • Customers with open issues

Results and speed depend on the offer, the evidence, your decisions, and the buyer. Nothing here promises revenue or a time to revenue.

Explore this role's capabilities

The name is literal.

supportcron ships 3 scheduled tasks. This is the actual default week: the queue is read and the patterns in it surfaced on a schedule, and nothing reaches a customer without you.

WhenWhat runs
Daily · 06:15 UTCEscalation triage: the tickets that need a human today, ranked, with a draft reply
Wednesdays · 06:15 UTCDeflection candidates: the repeated questions worth a docs page
Monthly, day 1 · 06:15 UTCSupport load review: what drove volume this month and what would remove it

Times are UTC. The runtime dispatches three times a day, at 06:15, 12:15 and 17:15 UTC, and each task takes one of those windows. You can turn any of them off in the console.

Built so the queue and the deal see each other.

Triaged by stakes, not by age

An escalation on an account with an open renewal outranks an older one with nothing riding on it. A support queue sorted by age will never surface that pairing; this reads the commercial record alongside the ticket.

The account owner hears it from you

When an escalation lands on an account with a renewal, supportcron writes the brief the account executive needs, in their language, including when it is unresolved. Otherwise the AE finds out from the customer.

Drafts that never promise a fix date

First responses acknowledge the specific problem, say what is being done, and give a checkpoint. No resolution dates, no causes, and no numbers that are not on the record.

The line we hold

Draft-first

Anything that reaches a customer waits for your yes. Responses, escalation briefs, deflection proposals: drafted for you to send, never sent for you. It holds no ticket-system write access and no mailbox.

The pattern, not just the ticket

The queue is read for what keeps coming back, so the same question asked forty times reaches you as one thing to fix rather than forty things to answer.

Put your queue on cron.

Questions people ask

How much does supportcron cost?

$99 per person per month, or $1,089 a year. That is the price of the whole platform: one seat licenses supportcron and every other role, and adding a teammate adds a seat at the same price.

What does supportcron include?

A daily escalation triage, drafted first responses, a weekly deflection-candidates review, a cross-function brief for the account owner, a monthly support load review, support-risk score narration, and a daily learning pass.

How is supportcron different from cscron?

cscron owns the post-sale commercial relationship: health, adoption, renewals and expansion. supportcron owns the queue: escalations, response times and recurring issues. They share a customer and little else, so each publishes what it learns to the other rather than duplicating it.

Does supportcron reply to customers on its own?

No. Every response is drafted for a person to read, correct and send. It has no ticket-system write access and no mailbox.

What does supportcron run on?

Our servers, on a schedule, with nothing to install. You connect your tools in the product; we custody those tokens encrypted and isolated per tenant, read them only on your schedule, never sell your data, and never use it to train models. You can revoke access anytime.
