Deal Room
A buyer-facing mutual action plan you share by link, with a deterministic engagement score from how the buyer uses it.

Overview
A deal room is a page you share with a buyer by link, no login for them: the mutual action plan, the next meeting, the resources, and the answers to their common questions, all in one place they can return to. It renders at /deal-room/<token>, where the token is the secret, the same shared-link pattern used across the product. This is the salescron equivalent of a buyer-facing deal room like Aligned or GetAccept.
What it is for, on the page. Under the headline, this page says what it produces, what makes it run, and where the output lands. Every Work page reads that line from one registry, so the three answers cannot drift from the page.
The mutual action plan
The room's centerpiece is the mutual action plan: the steps to close, each with an owner (you, the buyer, or shared), a due date, and a status. The buyer sees exactly where the deal is and what is theirs to move. You edit the plan and the room updates; nothing about the plan is invented, it shows only the steps and statuses you set.
Engagement tracking
Every buyer visit is logged, and a deterministic engagement score turns that raw activity into a signal you can act on: 0 to 100, banded cold, warm, or hot, from how recently the buyer visited, how often, across how many distinct days, how far the plan has progressed, and whether they unlocked protected content or e-signed in the room. The drivers behind the score are shown, so it is never a black box. A room with no visits scores cold with an honest zero, never a fabricated warm.
Protected rooms
A room can be password protected. A protected room shows an unlock prompt rather than its content, and the visit is still logged, so you can see that a buyer reached the room even if they did not unlock it. The buyer only ever sees the link.
Where you manage rooms
Deal Rooms is the seller side: every room you have published, ranked with its engagement score, visit count and last visit, and whether the link is open, password protected or revoked. Four tiles at the top give you the shape of the book: live rooms, total buyer visits, how many rooms are hot, and how many are cold.
Publishing takes an account id, an opportunity id, an optional title, and the buyer emails you want to notify. Pick a room and the editor opens underneath: the headline the buyer reads, a where-we-are note, the next meeting, and the mutual action plan, each step with an owner (you, the buyer, or shared), a due date and a status. Saving with "email the buyers this update" checked sends them the room through your connected Gmail, with a five-minute cooldown per room so an autosave cannot spam them.
The same screen sets or removes a room password, copies the buyer link, opens the room the way the buyer sees it, and revokes the link when the deal is done. Revoking is not deleting: the room stays in your list marked revoked, and the link stops opening.
What the buyer sees
The buyer-facing room is a self-contained, brand-neutral page (no app chrome), showing the plan title and hero message, a plan-progress bar computed from the real step statuses, where-we-are, the next meeting, the mutual action plan with each step's owner, due date and status, the shared collateral, and the questions. The engagement stats, recent-buyer-activity, and stakeholder analytics from the design mockup are the rep's view, not the buyer's, so they are intentionally not rendered on the buyer page; nothing is shown that the seller did not publish, and no step or status is fabricated.
