Client workspaces

Let someone outside your company work in your account, or work in a client's account yourself, with every action logged under both names.

Overview

A client workspace is another company's account that you have been given access to. The company's owner grants your email a role under Team admin, Clients and operators. You then pick the company in the client switcher and work in their account: their target accounts, campaigns, signals, leads and studio, under their plan, their do-not-contact list and their sending domains. Your own account is untouched while you do.

Each company stays a separate account. Nothing is pooled, and nothing you do for one client can read or change another client's records.

Roles and scopes

A grant also names the areas it covers: GTM (target accounts, enrichment, campaigns, signals and leads), Studio (Content Studio) and Reports. Only the company's owner can grant, change or revoke access, and only from their own session. Someone who works inside a team they do not own cannot open that account to an outsider; the team owner has to.

Acting for a client

Picking a client starts acting for them. The pages that work for clients read and write the client's records, and the client's plan decides what is available; you need no plan of your own. Pages that do not work for clients yet keep showing your own account, and a change you try to save on one of them is refused while you act, so nothing lands in your account by mistake. Stop acting to use them.

The pages that work for clients are target accounts (with enrichment and coverage), campaigns, signals and Content Studio. Every change you make on them is logged with your name and the client's account, even where the page itself keeps no history.

The client switcher sits in the top nav, right of the main tabs. It appears only once a client has granted you access; until then the nav looks exactly as it always has. Open it and pick a client, or pick Your account to go back. Content Studio's picker, and the Act for buttons under Team admin, do the same thing.

While you act for a client, an amber band under the nav says Acting for the client and your role, on every page. On a page that does not work for clients yet, the band says the page still shows your own account. Stop acting in the band takes you back to your own account. If the owner revokes your access, your next page shows a note that your access ended and you are back in your own account.

Revoking access

A revoke takes effect on the operator's next request. Whatever they try next is refused, nothing from it is saved, and they are returned to their own account. The grant stays on record with the time it ended.

The audit log

Every change an operator makes in your account records two names: theirs, as the person who did it, and your account, as the one it was done for. Those entries show under Team admin, What operators did in your account.

Account rules

Under Settings, Brand & Company, Account rules holds your standards, tone, outbound rules and guardrails, up to 200 lines. Every AI draft made for your account follows them, whoever is working: you, or an operator acting for you. Only you can change them, so rules never outlast someone whose access you revoked. The editor shows who last saved them and when.

Connection permissions

Also under Brand & Company, Connection permissions sets how far each connected tool may be written to. Read takes nothing. Draft takes drafts and proposals only, so a CRM change waits for a person to apply it. Stage also lets work be set up inside the tool. Launch with approval lets an approved send or write go through, which is how every account works until you set a level. Apply the safe set holds every CRM to drafts and leaves the rest launching with approval. Only you can set these; an operator cannot raise their own.

The client report

While you act for a client, the client switcher links to Client report, at /agency/<client>/report. It shows the last 7 and 30 days: delivered and bounce rate, reply rate with positive replies, email to lead, pipeline opened from outbound replies, and the best segments by positive reply rate. Each number shows what it was measured over. Email to lead needs 500 delivered to read, pipeline needs a connected CRM and says so instead of showing zero, and segments need two with 300 or more sends. A Viewer lands on this report when they pick the client, and it is the only page their role opens. An owner can open their own account's report the same way.

AI spend by person

AI calls made while an operator acts for a client are paid by the client's plan and recorded with the operator's name. The owner of a team sees, under Team admin, AI spend by person: each member's spend today, this month and last month, their top client, the outputs they got approved and the cost per output, plus spend by client. A client is named only when it granted the team owner access or is on the team; the rest sum as Other accounts. Set a daily or monthly limit per person and the owner gets one email (and a Slack message, if the rollup Slack webhook is set) the first time that person passes it in the day or month. Clients see their own totals on their usage page, not the breakdown by person. Attribution starts from this release; earlier usage shows as account totals only.

Billing

Each client buys its own plan and is invoiced for it. An operator works under that plan and needs no plan of their own, and acting for a client costs the agency nothing. The client creates its own account and grants the agency access; an agency cannot create an account for a client. There is no agency plan, per-operator seat or combined invoice yet.
