Data Export
Your brain is yours. Download your entire brain state as JSON, or import a copy back. No lock-in, no support ticket.
Overview
Data Export lets you take your brain state with you. The brain is the durable memory your scheduled runs build up, company context, ICP, signal weights, decision log, content calendar, and more, synced up via sync_brain. This page hands you all of it as a single file.
Export
- Click Download brain.json to get your full brain state as one JSON file.
- It's a plain, human-readable snapshot. Keep it as a backup, diff it over time, or move it.
- Check the
incompletefield at the top of the file. It lists any section the export could not read, so an emptytalk_tracksmeans you have no talk tracks and never means a section quietly went missing. An empty list is what a whole export looks like.
Want everything, not just the brain? Settings, Data has an "Export all data (JSON)" option that includes your account records too.
Import
- Upload a previously exported
brain.jsonto restore or seed your brain state. - Useful for moving between accounts or recovering from a known-good backup.
Why it matters
No lock-in. The value the runs build compounds in your brain, and you can pull that value out at any time in an open format. Deleting your account (Settings, Data, Danger zone) removes it; exporting first means you always keep a copy.
