## Overview

[Readiness Index](https://salesascode.com/readiness) answers a manager's ramp question: which new rep is behind where they should be, and what is the single next move. It scores each ramping rep from milestones hit, activity ramp, first deal, and attainment, compares that to the readiness expected for their tenure, and drafts the next-best-action to close the gap.

## Readiness vs the expected curve

Readiness is a 0 to 100 blend of the ramp signals. It is judged against an expected curve that rises to full readiness over a standard ramp, so a week-8 rep is measured against a week-8 bar, not a fully-ramped one. Each rep is banded ahead, on-track, behind, or at-risk by how far they are from their expected readiness, and the cohort is ranked furthest-behind first so attention goes where it is needed.

## The next-best-action draft

Each rep carries one drafted next-best-action, chosen from the biggest gap: pair a rep with no first close by week eight with a senior rep on a live deal, book a ramp session to clear outstanding onboarding milestones, review an activity plan that is below pace, or stretch a rep who is ahead of tenure. It is a starting point for the manager to review and run, not a fabricated status.

## Saved for your team

The cohort you enter is saved, keyed by rep, so re-entering a rep updates that rep's row rather than stacking a second one. "Use my team" loads the last cohort you saved, so you do not re-paste it every visit. Nothing is stored until you enter a cohort.

## Metadata only, deterministic

Every input is a ramp aggregate, weeks in role, milestones, activity, attainment, never rep content, keeping the leadership constraint. The scoring is deterministic, so the same aggregates always produce the same readiness and the same action, and a manager can defend the call in a ramp review.
