# GTM Efficiency

One GTM-efficiency band from your finance rollup and one reconciled multi-method forecast, with the variance made explicit.

Included with [crocronjob](https://salesascode.com/docs/library/crocronjob) . A seat without it sees an upsell here instead of the page.

## Overview

[GTM Efficiency](https://salesascode.com/efficiency) is the crocronjob board view: it turns a finance / RevOps rollup into a single legible efficiency headline (below-plan, on-track, ahead) scored against 2026 benchmarks, and reconciles your forecast methods into one number with the spread between them shown. Both answers are what a CRO takes into a board meeting, computed deterministically so they hold up under scrutiny.

**What it is for, on the page.** Under the headline, this page says what it produces, what makes it run, and where the output lands. Every Work page reads that line from one registry, so the three answers cannot drift from the page.

## Three of the nine fill themselves

Your own book answers three of the numbers this page asks for, so it fills them in rather than asking you to retype them: **NRR** from your resolved renewals, **pipeline coverage** as your open pipeline divided by the quotas you have stored, and the **rep commit** as the roll-up of what your reps committed for the most recent period on file. The line under the form names which ones were filled, and anything you have typed is never overwritten.

The other six stay a form because nothing in the product stores what they need. **Magic number**, **CAC payback** and **Rule of 40** want sales and marketing spend, net new ARR, or margin. The other three forecast methods are a manager's judgement, a model's guess and a regression, and the book holds only the rep commit: feeding one number in three times would report a variance of zero, which is the most confident possible way to be wrong about a forecast.

## How the efficiency band works

You enter the metrics your finance team already tracks: the magic number, net revenue retention, CAC payback in months, Rule of 40, and pipeline coverage. Each is normalized to a 0 to 100 score against its 2026 benchmark band, and the composite is a single efficiency band. The breakdown shows how each metric scored, so the headline is never a black box, you can see exactly which metric is dragging the number. Any metric you leave blank is simply left out; the score uses what you supply.

## The reconciled forecast

The 2026 board standard is not one forecast number, it is several run in parallel with the variance shown. Enter any of the rep commit, manager-adjusted, AI-predicted, and regression forecasts and the scorecard reconciles them to the median (robust to one outlier) and reports the spread and an agreement band: tight, moderate, or wide. A wide spread is the signal the forecast is soft and needs scrutiny before it goes to the board.

## Org-level only

This scorecard works on org-level aggregates: efficiency ratios and forecast rollups, never individual rep content. It reads only what you type into the form. Nothing is stored by scoring it; refresh the page and the inputs clear. Turning the scorecard into a board narrative stays with the crocronjob board-narrative skill, which narrates the "why" and keeps a kill switch on the AI surface.

## What is not shown

The design mockup also sketched an AI board-narrative preview (a generated Q3 update with tailwinds and headwinds) and a nine-motion CAC-allocation table with scale/hold/cut recommendations. Neither is shown here. The board narrative is generated prose from a separate crocronjob skill, not this scoring endpoint, and the motion CAC allocation is its own feature (CAC Allocation), so folding either into this scorecard would either duplicate that surface or invent numbers this endpoint does not compute. This page delivers the two honest, deterministic answers the efficiency endpoint returns: the metric band and the reconciled forecast.
