## Overview

[BDR Benchmark Coach](https://salesascode.com/bdr-coach) turns a 1:1 into a coaching session against a bar rather than a gut feel. It scores each BDR's weekly activity against the 2026 benchmarks, speed-to-lead under 5 minutes, connect rate 16.6%, dial-to-meeting 2.5%, and around 100 dials a day, and names the single habit most worth fixing.

**What it is for, on the page.** Under the headline, this page says what it produces, what makes it run, and where the output lands. Every Work page reads that line from one registry, so the three answers cannot drift from the page.

## Direction-aware scoring

Each metric is compared to its benchmark in the right direction: for speed-to-lead, lower is better; for connect rate, dial-to-meeting, and dials per day, higher is better. A metric the rep did not report is left unscored rather than assumed to pass, so a green card always means the rep actually cleared the bars that were measured, not that data was missing.

## One habit to fix

Rather than a wall of red, the coach names one coaching focus: the benchmark the rep missed by the largest margin, normalized so a 4x miss on speed-to-lead outranks a small miss on connect rate. The focus comes with a concrete play, set an alert not a queue for speed-to-lead, tighten the opener for dial-to-meeting, block and protect the calendar for dials. The team is ranked weakest attainment first so coaching time goes where it moves the number.

## Saved for your team

The week you enter is saved, keyed by rep, so re-entering a rep updates that rep's row rather than stacking a second one. "Use my team" loads the last week you saved, so you do not have to re-paste it every visit. Nothing is stored until you enter a team; the numbers are aggregate metrics, never call content.

## Deterministic

The scoring is deterministic: the same week always produces the same card and the same focus, so the coaching is consistent and a rep can track their own progress against the benchmarks week over week.
